 NCDC reports spread of Cholera across country.

Fewer than 900 and 22 persons have been infected with cholera while 32 others have been killed in 9weeks-between January 2nd to March 5th 2023

According to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC), the states with cases of cholera are: Cross River, Ebonyi, Abia, Niger. Other are Zamfara, Bayelsa, Ondo, Katsina, Kano, Sokoto, Bauchi and Osun. Deaths have been recorded in the following states: Cross River, Ebonyi, Abia, Niger, Zamfara and Bayelsa.

The NCDC’s epidemiological report showed that of all the cases recorded since the beginning of the year, Cross River had six hundred and 47 cases of cholera, accounting for seventy percent of the cumulative cases across the country.
