2023 Elections: Police Service Commission threatens sanctions for earring officers

Ahead of Saturday’s general elections, the Police Service Commission, PSC, has appointed three hundred and sixty staff to monitor the conduct of police officers deployed to the thirty six states of the federation for the polls.

The commission also warned that it would sanction any police officer involved in any form of misconduct before, during or immediately after the elections, saying it was determined to ensure that policemen on election duties conduct themselves within the approved rules and regulations.

To this end, the PSC has released the list of coordinators for both national and states elections and their telephone numbers to be assessed by the public.
