Founder, Africa Film Academy, AFA, and organizer, AMAA, Ms. Peace Anyiam Osigwe, has announced nominations for the 17th edition of the AMA Awards.

According to her, this year’s edition will hold in November in Lagos, with Nomination announcement set to hold this month still in Lagos.

The Africa Film Academy, also, announced that it is set to launch a new initiative, “100 Film Project”, which is aimed at training and supporting African creatives.

The Project Lead, Abiola Durodola while announcing the 100 Film Project, noted that AFA will be training new talents for the film industry. In his statement, he declared, “we regularly run training programmes across Africa, equipping young film makers on industry best practices. This year, we have held training sessions in Port Harcourt, Bayelsa and Asaba on cinematography and film production.
