Anambra Lawmakers laments budget slash in education sector.

The Anambra State House of Assembly has expressed displeasure over seventy per cent budget slash in education from three point two three billion naira to one point one billion Naira in this year’s revised budget presented by Governor Charles Soludo.
They said that the budgetary allocation to education sector was unrealistic and the slash would lower the standard of teaching and learning, as well as development of students.
Member representing Anaocha Constituency ll, Mr Ejike Okechukwu, made the assertion during an ongoing twenty twenty-two Revised Budget defence of the Ministry of Education.
The defence was done before the Assembly Committee on Finance and Appropriation in Awka.
