Anambra State Governor declares end to sit-at-home order.

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has declared an end to the Monday sit-at-home in the State and is offering amnesty to agitators still in hideouts.

Governor Soludo also said a Peace and Reconciliation Committee will be set up soon to address all areas of sincere challenge, including interfacing with the Federal Government on behalf of all Prisoners of conscience.

He stated that his government’s resolve to make the southeast state peaceful, is offering amnesty to all everyone in the various forests.

According to him, reclaiming the dignity of the people is a task that must be accomplished.
