BAYELSA GOVERNMENT SUPPORTS PLATFORM TO HARNESS TALENTS

Talents resident in Bayelsa State may finally have a platform to showcase their innate talents as Silver Flame media, over the weekend re-launched the talents discovering platform ” “Bayelsa Got the Talent”

The event had in attendance entertainers, tourists, entertainment enthusiasts, captains of industry, top government functionaries and participants from all walks of life converged on Yenagao for the re-launch of the Bayelsa Got the Talent 2021.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the re-launch, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr Iti Orugbani, who lauded the organizer for the initiative, described it as a step in the right direction towards scouting for new talents.

Dr. Orugbani, who stressed that the move was in tandem with Governor Douye Diri’s passion to develop the youths, assured the organizer of government’s partnership to enable him succeeds.

Also, the lawmaker representing Kolokuma Opokuma Constituency one in the state House of Assembly, Dr. Tonye Isenah, explained that with the right platform, the youth will discover their inherent talents.

While appealing to government to key into the Silver flames, Dr Isenah suggested that the resources used in seeking fun outside be voted into the Bayelsa Got the Talent, saying it’s advantages are enormous as it would shore up the IGR of the state.

Earlier, while unavailing the Bayelsa Got the Talent, the Chief Executive Officer of Silver Flame Media, Mr. Sylvester Sede, acknowledged that the state is an embodiment of undiscovered talents.
Mr. Sede, who pointed out that platform was not only for Bayelsans, hinted that forms can be obtained  at all the eight Local Government Areas with the sum of one thousand naira, saying closing date for is on the thirty-first of December while auditioning will commence on January first of January.
