Bayelsa Marks Thanksgiving Day Today.

The 2021Bayelsa State Annual Thanksgiving celebration holds this morning by 10:00am at the Ecumenical Centre, Igbogene-Yenagoa.

To this end, Governor Douye Diri has declared today as work-free day in line with the State Annual Thanksgiving Law to enable both public and private sector workers participate.

A statement by Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Honourable Ayiba Dubai says guest minister is Reverend (Dr.) Umah Ukpai, while Sinach will minister in songs.

The statement urges indigenes, residents and friends at home and in Diaspora to come out and praise God who inhabits the praises of his people and the source of prosperity.

It also urges everyone to join hands with government to appreciate God Almighty for His unending mercies and abundant blessings for the land and people of the state.
