Bayelsa RSU Alumni gets new executive

Rivers State University Alumni Association Bayelsa State Branch, has
sworn-in new executive with Sir John Dan-Aputu as Chairman, to pilot
its affairs for the next four years.

The twenty twenty-three Elective Convention which held in Yenagoa
and returned most of the executive unopposed also has Dr Ileimokumo
Ogregade as Vice Chairman, Mr. Eferebo Berezi, Secretary, Mrs Atonye
Alagoa, Assistant Secretary, Mr Jonathan Sambo, Financial Secretary
and Dr. Binaebi Bariweni, Treasurer.

Others are; Gideon Ezebe, Organizing Secretary, Dr. Dise Ogbise-Harry,
Public Relations Officer, Mr. Gbenizibe Amachree, Welfare Secretary,
Mrs Juliet Asoh-Koroye, Legal Adviser, Mr Samuel Derie, Auditor One
and Pastor Opukeme Manson, Auditor Two.

In a remark, National Governing Council Representative, Rivers State
University Alumni Association, Lady Perekebina Berezi said she is
optimistic that the new leadership will deliver on their mandate to move
the Association to greater height.

In his acceptance speech, the re-elected Chairman, Sir John Dan-Aputu
who is currently the Executive Secretary, Bayelsa State Pilgrims’
Welfare Board, promised to consolidate on existing legacies laid down
in his first tenure.

Commenting, Chairman, Elective Convention Committee, Mr. Tupere
Sese expressed satisfaction on the turnout of members and their support
towards the sustenance of the Alumni activities in Bayelsa State.

Mr Sese also appreciated God for his grace upon the committee towards
a successful election.
