Bayelsa State Police Command has confirmed the death of Dr. Ayasen Kemeakegha, Dean Student Affairs, Niger Delta University.

In a statement, Police Public Relations Officer, Asinim Butswat, said Policemen responded to a scene of a fatal car accident along Tombia-Amassoma Road, and discovered that the only occupant of the vehicle, a Toyota Corrolla was burnt to death.

According to him, upon inquiries, it was revealed that the deceased was fifty-five years old Dr. Kemeakegha, Dean of Student Affairs, Niger Delta University, Amassoma.

He said the corpse has been evacuated and deposited at the morgue and investigation is on.
