The Commissioner representing Bayelsa State at the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission in Abuja, Mr Alfred Egba has extolled the virtues of the Minister of State for Petroleum, Chief Timipre Sylva as he celebrates his 58th birthday today.
Mr. Egba in a congratulatory message, described the former governor of Bayelsa State as a fine, gentle and humane statesman whose political relevance has stayed for the past three decades.
He noted that having served in both legislative and executive capacities at state and national levels, Chief Sylva has always proved his worth.
While hailing the commitment of Chief Sylva towards the developmental needs of Bayelsa State during and after his tenure as governor, the RMAAFC Commissioner noted that the celebrant has not relented as he is a good ambassador of the state at the Federal Executive Council.
Mr. Egba who referred to the Minister as a father and mentor with a large heart, said he is a rare gift to humanity, especially the teaming youths whose lives he has impacted.
According to the former Bayelsa State legislator, Chief Sylva still has so much value to add to Bayelsa and Nigeria, and called on Bayelsans to pray for the Minister especially now that he marks his birthday.
While appreciating God for keeping the celebrant alive in good health, Mr Egba prayed for the attainment of his full potential.
