Federal lawmaker Distributes Empowerment Packages To Constituents In Bayelsa

Member representing Ogbia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Deputy Chairman House Committee on Information and National Orientation, Mr. Fred Obua has distributed empowerment packages to his constituents.
Items distributed were Motorcycles, Refrigerators, Power Generating Sets and Computer Systems with starter Packs at Elebele.
Other items include Sewing and Grinding Machines, Women Hair making and Make-up Materials, Barbing Saloon tools as well as starter-packs to facilitate various businesses.
Speaking while distributing the items to the Beneficiaries in Otuokpoti, Ogbia Local Government Area, Mr. Obua said the empowerment was part of his continuous efforts to provide improved living conditions to the people of his Constituency to complement Governor Douye Diri’s efforts.
A beneficiary, Mrs. Unity Ototo commended the lawmaker for the gesture, noting that, the items would go a long way to reduce poverty in the Local Government Area.
She promised to make use of her materials judiciously which would enable her be self-reliant and implore others to emulate the gesture, noting that the items would help reduce poverty in the Local Government Area.

In a good will message, the Obanema of Otuokpoti Community Chief A. C. T. Wongo appreciated the lawmaker for his good works and called for sustainability.
It may be recalled that Mr. Obua last month provided educational materials to Public Primary and Secondary Schools across Ogbia Federal Constituency at Emeyal two and empowered hundreds of Youths and Women of Ogbia Federal Constituency.
