A political group, ‘‘Four plus Four Prosperity Movement’’ of Bayelsa State, has inaugurated its Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government and ward executives to work for the re-election of Governor Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.
The ceremony which took place at Kaiama, headquarters of the council, also witnessed the acceptance of over eight hundred electorate from other political parties into the KOLGA folk of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Inaugurating the LGA and ward EXCOS, Director-General of four-plus-four prosperity movement, Mr. Ebi Ben-Ololo, advised them to work in unison to achieve set targets.
Mr. Ben-Ololo who stressed that those inaugurated are force to be reckoned with in their various units, urged them to bring their experiences to bear.
Also, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Moses Teibowei, advised the executive not see their positions as platform to pursue personal gains, but to work to ensure that Governor Diri and Senator Ewhrudjakpo are re-elected to consolidate on their achievements.
Mr. Teibowei, who also commended the decampees for retracing their steps, urged them not to see themselves as new entrants but part of the PDP family.
