Government Inaugurates Governing Council of Bayelsa Multi Door Court House

Government has inaugurated the Governing Council of Bayelsa Multi Door Court House (BMDC) to address issues of tenure, functions and meetings of the BMDC to promote Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADR) in the state.
Chief Judge of Bayelsa State, Justice Kate Abiri during the inauguration said providing disputants  the mechanism of resolving issues other adjudications through litigations for, cost effective and expeditious inline with best practices.
Justice Abiri, who said a skeletal services of Mediations, Counciliation, Arbitration and Neutral Evaluation have been on since the setting up of ADR centre, noted that with completion of a befitting BMDC complex the state is set for operation in advancing the course of ADR.
Attorney General of Bayelsa State, Biriyai Dambo and King Collins Ebi-Daniel of the private sector on behalf of the council members thanked the state government for the confident reposed on them and promised to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties.
The board has Justice Raphael Ajuwa as ADR Judge 1, Justice E.G  Omukoro as ADR Judge 2, Justice S.W Amaduobogha -ADR Judge 3, Mrs. Otomvie Eke-Spiff as Secretary, while Chairman NBA Yenagoa branch, Barr. U Sayou, Barr. Warmate Jones-Idikio and King Collins Ebi-Daniel will serve as members.
