Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri, has said the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, remains a source of encouragement to his administration.
Governor Diri stated this during the dedication of the new pavilion built by his administration in Sampou, Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area.
While expressing gratitude to the cleric for his love during last year’s floods, the governor recalled that he donated over one hundred bags of rice to support victims.
He said Pastor Adeboye will attend the seventeenth National Biennial Conference of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and will also visit flood affected areas.
While dedicating the pavilion, Pastor Adeboye described Governor Diri as an exceptional leader that has the fear of God and prayed God to prevent flood from wreaking havoc in the state.
