Governor Douye Diri will be among awardees to receive the award of Media Pedestal and Most Impactful Governor during Bayelsa Media Awards (BMA) scheduled to hold on Thursday.

Venue is Trendy Event Center, Yenizue Gene, Yenagoa, while green Carpet starts at ten 0’ clock in the morning and the main event at eleven 0’ clock.

Project Manager, BMA, Victor Binawari says the programme will feature a keynote address on ‘Understanding the Oil and Gas Sector through the Eyes of the Media” to be delivered by the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, Mr. Simbi Wabote.

It notes that, there will also be entertainment and live performances from renowned artistes like Alfred Izonebi, Kofi Black Band, award winning state troupe from the Council for Arts and Culture, Walter Sax, Soda Presh, Doris Joseph, Jovin and Idyl as well as comedy by MC Okpeke, Krazy Jenkins, Geebonez and others.
