Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer,Burna Boy also known as Damini Ogulu, said it is treacherous for him to choose who was a better footballer between Super Eagles legends, Kanu Nwankwo and Austin Jay Jay Okocha.
Burna Boy who performed at the Champions League final kickoff show on Saturday 10th June, had an interview with some football legends on CBS Sports shortly after the game.
He was asked to choose who was a better player between Kanu and Okocha by Arsenal andFrance legend, Thierry Henry.
“I have one for you, you go Kanu or Okocha? Henry asked.
Burna Boy responded: “Don’t do this to me, man. No, I can’t do this.
“This is treachery. It is treason. I could be hanged for it.”
However, after being prodded further, Burna Boy obliged to whisper his choice to Henry.
Former England international, Micah Richards claimed he heard Okocha.
But Henry refused to announce who Burna picked, saying “I will respect this one.”
Burna Boy told Micah that he doesn’t know who he picked.
