Leadership of Niger Delta Peace and Development Advocates (NDPDA) has congratulated Chief Government Ekpemupolo also known as Tompolo on his recent multi million naira contract to curb oil theft in the Niger Delta region.

A statement by the NDPDA National President Comrade Kelvin Ebi-Thomas which also congratulates the Bayelsa State Coordinator, Mr. Joshua Maciver describes Chief Tompolo as a leader with capacity to deliver based on his distinctive track records.

According to the statement, NDPDA has passed a vote of confidence on Chief Tompolo and Mr. Maciver on their abilities to reduce the worrisome oil theft in the region and secure the National Resources as well as needed Forex to finance the nation’s developmental plans.

It appreciates President Muhammad Buhari and the Minister of State for Petroleum, Chief Timipre Sylva for the award of contract, which will lead to a lasting solution to oil theft in the Niger Delta region.
