House of Representatives targets December to pass budget.

House of Representatives says it is targeting December sixteenth to pass the twenty-twenty-two Appropriation Bill.

Making the target public during a meeting of the House Committee on Appropriation, the Chairman, Mukhtar Betara said the panel will lay its report on the fourteen of the same month for consideration the next day, followed by third reading and eventual passage.

The House had earlier passed document for second reading after two days of extensive debate on its general principles.

Also, the Green Chamber initiated moves to halt Government’s borrowing spree by ensuring implementation of policies that generate more revenues.
