The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it has
extended the deadline for the collection of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs).
The Commission extended the PVC collection deadline until Sunday
January twenty-ninth, twenty-twenty-three.
The update, which was provided in a statement by INEC’s National
Commissioner Festus Okoye said the Commission is determined to ensure
that registered voters collect their PVCs ahead of the forthcoming election.
He said for this reason, the timeframe for the collection of PVCs is extended
by eight days.
