Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said new Permanent Voter Cards will be made available next month.

It also noted that two point seven million double registrations were deleted from the last Continuous Voters Registration exercise conducted by the Commission.

INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, reiterated at a National Endowment for Democracy event in Washington DC in the United States, noting that about fifty per cent of the new PVCs are ready, but yet to be distributed to collection centres.
