Lagos State Government says it has entered into a partnership with Sustainable Education and Enterprise Development Foundation to train and equip 1 million teachers with modern teaching techniques.

The state government said this was in line with its measures to address noticeable declines in students’ performances occasioned by poor teaching techniques in schools.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, said the programme was designed to give participants relevant skills that would boost their competency and professionalism to deliver quality teaching.

Mr. Wahab made this known while opening the training organized for teachers at the Lagos State University of Education, Ijanikin.
