Three nominees for the New Yenagoa City Development Agency have been screened and confirmed by the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

They are Ms Emi Faloughi as Managing Director, Michael Makpah, Executive Director, Operations and Akpane Jacob, Executive Director, Finance and Administration.

Shortly after the screening session, Speaker of the House, Chief Abraham Ingobere admonished them to always consult and work in tandem with other relevant agencies to follow the master plan of the state.

He also advised that they cannot work in isolation but rather work with civil servants that will be posted to them to achieve set goals.

Similarly, Dr Tonye Isenah representing Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency One and his Ogbia constituency one counterpart, Chief Mitema Obordor charged the nominees to study the law establishing the agency to be acquainted with its functions.

The Lawmakers however urged them to work as a team to achieve the developmental needs of the state.
