The National Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, Governor Douye Diri alongside other PDP Governors and dignitaries have inaugurated Ernest Ikoli Media Complex today at Ekeki, Yenagoa.

Speaking during the inauguration, Senator Iyorchia said it takes a man of commitment such as Governor Douye Diri to inaugurate several projects within two years in office.

He further commended Governor Diri for putting up such an edifice to accommodate the three state media industry in the state. Also he thanked all PDP Governors across the country for making the party proud by engaging in different projects and giving the people dividends of democracy.

Governor Diri while addressing the people declared that some decisions including natural situations which affected the media houses made his complex. administration take the decision to put up the edifice.

According to him, the complex is named after a veteran journalist from Bayelsa State for his outstanding contributions in the media industry within and outside the country.
