PDP presidential candidate campaigns in Bayelsa, reaffirms commitment to restructuring. 

Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubarka, has reaffirmed his commitment to restructuring and devolution of power if elected to office in next month general election.

Alhaji Atiku stated this at the traditional rulers council, when the presidential campaign team of the PDP, paid a courtesy visit to the monarchs in Yenagoa.

While addressing the Traditional rulers, the PDP presidential candidate assured that he will engage the private sector to invest massively in infrastructural development in the region.

Describing the Monarchs as partners in development, Alhaji Atiku said he is committed to finding solutions to the region’s challenges.

Earlier, chairman of Bayelsa state  traditional rulers council, king Bubaraye Dakolo, presented some request to the presidential candidate, which where, completion of the East-West road, request for seaport, request for coastal road and railway, completion of the three senatorial  roads amongst others.
