Rebels kill fifteen civilians, an army captain in Democratic Republic of Congo.

Rebels in the east of Democratic Republic of Congo have killed at leasRt fifteen civilians and an army captain during attacks on villages.

The Ituri region’s military governor, Colonel Siro Simba, said rebels from the Allied Democratic Forces were thought to have targeted Kandoyi village killing ten people.

UN expert group says it has evidence that Rwandan troops have been fighting alongside one of the rebel groups known as M23.

The Kigali government has denied the accusation.
