Rivers State Governor, Siminialaye Fubara, has disclosed plans by his administration to recruit ten thousand personnel into the state civil service.

He made this known when the state leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress paid him a solidarity visit at the Government House in Port Harcourt.

The governor said the recruitment was a deliberate policy of Rivers government to ensure employment for Rivers youths.

Governor Fubara also said modalities were being put in place by the government to roll out transport palliative to cushion the high cost of transportation caused by the removal of petrol subsidy.
