South Africa’s Parliament Hold Special Sitting Over President

South Africa’s Parliament is expected to hold a special sitting today to debate a report by a panel of legal experts which found President Cyril Ramaphosa breach of oath of office.

Reports say this is in connection with the Phala Phala farm scandal hanging over President Ramaphosa accused of a cover-up following the theft of foreign currency at his private game farm back in twenty-twenty.

President Ramaphosa’s fate will be in the hands of MPs who votes on whether he should be impeached.

The President has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.
