Inspector General of Police, Mr. Usman Baba has approved the deployment of new Commissioners of Police (CPs) for three states and five formations nationwide to enhance operational and administrative effectiveness.

In a statement, the Force Public Relations Officer, OlumuyiwaAdejobisaid the deployments were in line with the police`s manpower development policy.

The newly deployed CPs are Mr. MammanDauda-Kano; Mr.  EtimEffiom-Gombe; Mr. AminuAlhassan-Bauchi; Mr. BabatundeIshola-CPTU Staff College, Jos; and Mr. MammanSanda, X-Squad, FCID Annex, Lagos.

Also deployed were Mr. John Babangida-Gombe; AkinwaleAdeniran, Safer Highway, Force Headquarters, Abuja and AbubakarLawal, DFA, FCID Annex, Lagos.
