Tanzanian health authorities said they are on high alert following fresh outbreak of Ebola in northwestern Democratic Republic of Congo.
The permanent secretary in the Ministry of Health, Abel Makubi said they have dispatched teams of surveillance experts to regions bordering with the DRC.
According to reports, the resurgence of the virus in the town of Mbandaka, northwestern DRC, has left two people dead since April twenty-one.
The World Health Organization says that as of April twenty-seven, at least two hundred and sixty-seven contacts had been identified in DRC.
