UAT Management felicitates Pro-Chancellor over conferment of National Honors

Management, Staff and Students of the University of Africa Toru-Orua, UAT, have felicitated with the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of UAT, Mr.  Kemela Okara on the conferment of National Honours on him as Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) by the Federal Government.

 

In a statement, Registrar of the University, Dr. Akpoebi Adesi, described the Pro-Chancellor as an astute administrator with great accomplishments and enviable track record, noting that the National Honour is a thing of joy and pride to the UAT community.

 

Dr. Adesi further said the wealth of experience, dedication, and exemplary disposition in public service have continued to qualify the Pro-Chancellor for recognition and reward.

 

The UAT Registrar said the University of Africa Toru-Orua, is proud to be associated with the National Honour of its Pro-Chancellor and wished him higher grounds for more exploits.

 

Until his appointment as Pro-Chancellor of UAT, Barr. Kemela Okara was a Commissioner and Secretary to the Bayelsa State Government
