UK announces cash support for low-income households

British Department of Work and Pensions has said low-income households in the country will receive 900 pounds as cost-of-living support from the government
It said the money will be paid directly into the claimants’ bank accounts in 3 payments over the financial year.
The latest support package follows a 1,200 pounds cash support programme for low-income households last year as Britain struggles with a cost-of-living crisis amid a challenging economic  environment.
