Ukraine President calls for more sanctions against Russia

Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky has urged countries to sanction Russia after a recent attack on the country.

At least nineteen people have been killed and scores injured as Russian missiles hit regions across the country.

The calls came after he met the G7 group of nations for emergency virtual talks.

The bloc which consists of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and US promised to continue providing financial, humanitarian, military, diplomatic and legal support to the country.
