Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar and Chairman of the Senate, Professor Florence Obi, has announced the appointment of two female deputy vice-chancellors of the institution.

The announcement is contained in a release signed on Monday in Calabar by the Registrar of the institution, Mr. Gabriel Egbe.

The two DVCs are Professor Angela Oyo-Ita, who was re-appointed for a second term and Professor Grace Eno, who was newly appointed as the DVC Administration.

According to Mr. Egbe, the appointments were ratified by Senate members at the two hundred and thirty-first meeting.

He also said that the former DVC Administration had been appointed as the Director of Alumni Relations of the university.
