University suspends Amnesty Programme scholars over debt

Authorities of Baze University, Abuja, have ordered the suspension of about one hundred and eighty-five students under the Federal Government-sponsored Presidential Amnesty Programme’s scholarship due to outstanding fees.

The undergraduates were said to have been asked to leave when they were about to sit for their Digital Entrepreneurship examination.
However, the interim administrator of PAP, Major General Barry Ndiomu, had sent a letter to the Institution, giving reasons for the delay in the payment.
