Wife of Bayelsa State Governor eulogizes outgoing Chief Judge.

Wife of the Bayelsa State Governor, Dr. Gloria Diri has described the Chief Judge, Justice Kate Abiri as a role model whose contributions added immense value to the judicial arm.

Dr Diri who stated this at a valedictory service in her honour at the Greater Evangelism World Crusade, Opolo, Yenagoa, Congratulated Justice Abiri on her retirement and fourteen years as Chief Judge of the state.

Dr. Diri observed that in spite of her position, she is humble and selfless, applauded the outgoing Chief Judge for ensuring a harmonious working relationship between the Judiciary and Executive arms for the overall development of Bayelsa state.

The Bayelsa Governor’s wife noted that as she bows out of service, another phase of life awaits her and thanked God for giving her the grace to accomplish her task strong.

Delivering a sermon, titled, “Finishing Strong”, the International Director, Greater Evangelism World Crusade, Pastor Isaac Olori, congratulated Justice Abiri on her successful retirement.

Pastor Olori described her judicial career as a service to God and humanity and expressed gratitude to God who enabled her to finish well and strong.

He reminded the congregation that power and authority are transient, noting that Justice Abiri had utilized her position to positively impact on lives and that the ministry was proud of her enduring legacies.
