WOMEN OF ODI LAUDS GOVERNOR DOUYE DIRI

Women of Ward 3 of Odi Community, in Kolokuma Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State have appreciated Governor Douye Diri for appointing its people into positions of trust and for various projects in the community.

The women gave the appreciation when they paid a solidarity visit to the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Moses Teibowei at his office in Yenagoa.

Speaking, leader of the group, Mrs. Yeidi-ere Abura, who acknowledged the administration’s strides, also lauded the Governor for giving Odi community a pride of place.

Mrs. Abura also expressed delight at the achievements of Governor Diri since assumption of office especially the ongoing road project across the state, as well as measures to mitigate flooding and shoreline protection project at Odi.

Responding, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Moses Teibowei applauded the women for appreciating government’s efforts and promised to convey their massage to the Governor.  He also assured them of government’s commitment to ensure all ongoing projects across the state are completed.
