Federal ministry of health through the state ministry of health has kick started the yellow fever vaccination across the state.

Speaking to staff reporter Valerie Ayah, Ward focal person Peace Ogu called on parents and Guardian to release their wards for the ongoing vaccination in the state adding that yellow fever is a vaccine taken once in 10 years.

Also, community health practitioner Victory Bennet, said the essence of the vaccine is to fight against other related disease.

A parent who commended the state ministry of health for carrying out the exercise, also called on them to carry out more sensitization to every nook and cranny to help those in rural communities know more about the vaccine.

The team also moved to Living faith church INEC branch, Dunamis international ministry, St Matthias Catholic Church , Redeem International church  and Omega fire ministry.

High point of the exercise was the administering of Vitamin A to toddlers from zero to 5 years.
