Epie Kingdom Development Organization, EKDO has felicitated with Governor Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo for their victory during the governorship elections in Bayelsa State.

 A statement by the President, Mr. Freedom Osain and Secretary, Dr. Bonsome Bokolo, on behalf of the Obenibe of Epie Kingdom, King Mallam Sasime, his council of Chiefs and people, says the victory underscores the confidence of Bayelsans on the duo.

 It says, the Epie people as hosts of the capital city are delighted by the restoration of security and peace in the area by the Prosperity government, which translated into votes for the governor to consolidate on the achievements in his first term.

The EKDO leadership reassures the Prosperity government of the commitment of Epie Kingdom to its policies and programmes, while advocating for more visible attention and consideration for the people in the scheme of things.
